About tickets

  • What is the cutoff age between adults and children?

    Adult…12 years and up (junior high school or higher)
    Child…6 years to 12 years old and enrolled in elementary school (elementary school)
    Young child…1 year to 6 years old (not yet enrolled in elementary school)
    Infant…Up to 1 year old

    ● Admission is free for up to 2 persons in the case of a young child accompanied by an adult or child. Small-group child fare will be charged from the 3rd person.

  • Where can I buy a ticket?
    ordinary tickets, round-trip tickets and 1-day tickets are sold by automatic ticket vending machines.
  • What is the Noriorikun 1-day pass ticket?
    This is a ticket that allows unlimited train use over the entire Enoden Line.

  • Do you want a refund?

    You are eligible for a refund of your 1-month commuter pass within 7 days from the start of use. A fee of 220 yen will be charged. For details, please ask a station attendant.

  • If you lose your ordinary ticket? If you find it later?
    You will be charged the fare from the station where you boarded, but we will issue you a Claim Certificate.
    That certificate is valid for one year, so that if you find your ticket again, you can obtain a refund by presenting that ticket and the certificate at the issuing station.
  • When a Type 1 physically disabled person or Type 1 intellectually disabled person rides with a caregiver?
    Both persons receive a 50% discount.
    Please bring your Physical Disability Certificate or Intellectual Disability Certificate.
    Special tickets (1-day pass tickets, park & rail ride tickets, etc.) are not eligible for a discount.
    In the case of commuter passes for children, please ask a station attendant.
  • What are these rules based on?
    The rules for passenger ticket sales are determined by the “Passenger Operation Rules” of Enoshima Electric Railway Co., Ltd.

  • What if you have left something behind on a train or a platform?

    Please ask directly a station attendant.

About station facilities

  • Which stations are unmanned stations (without station staff)?
    Ishigami Station, Yanagikoji Station, Syonan-Kaigan-Koen Station, Kamakurakokomae Station, Yuigahama Station, Wadazuka Station.
    At Koshigoe Station, Shichirigahama Station, and Gokurakuji Station, station staff is on hand only during the daytime (9:00 to 18:00).
  • What should I do with my ticket when getting off at an unmanned station?
    Either hand it over to a nearby conductor or throw it away into a used ticket collection box.
    If you are using an IC card, please swipe it on the touch panel on the simple ticket gate.
  • Which stations have restrooms?
    Fujisawa Station, Kugenuma Station, Shonan-Kaigan-Koen Station, Enoshima Station, Koshigoe Station, Kamakurakokomae Station, Shichirigahama Station, Inamuragasaki Station, Gokurakuji Station, Hase Station, Yuigahama Station, Wadazuka Station and Kamakura Station have restrooms.
    Fujisawa Station, Enoshima Station, Hase Station, and Kamakura Station have multi-purpose restrooms.
  • Which stations have barrier-free access from the platform to the outside?
    Fujisawa Station, Ishigami Station, Yanagikoji Station, Kugenuma Station, Shonan-Kaigan-Koen Station, Enoshima Station, Kamakurakokomae Station, Gokurakuji Station, Hase Station, Yuigahama Station, wadazuka Station, and Kamakura Station have barrier-free access from the platform to the outside.
    ● At Kugenuma Station, please use the elevator.
    ● At Koshigoe Station, a wheelchair lift is provided. (Utilization hours: 9:00 to 18:00)
    ※It takes about 10 minutes to use. Please allow for sufficient time in your travel plan.

Use of PASMO

  • Can I use PASMO to ride the train?
    Yes, you can use PASMO.
    Besides PASMO, you also use Suica, Kitaca, manaca, TOICA, PiTaPa, ICOCA, Hayakaken, nimoca, and SUGOCA.
  • When can I charge my IC card?
    You can charge your IC card at an automatic ticket vending machine or at a charge machine.

    It’s a 25-minute walk from Enoshima Station.
  • Time to Enoshima Aquarium?
    It’s a 10-minute walk from Enoshima Station.
  • Time to Hasedera Temple?
    It’s a 5-minute walk from Hase Station.
  • Time to Daibutsu(Kotoku-in)?
    It’s a 7-minute walk from Hase Station.
  • Time to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu?
    It’s a 10-minute walk from Kamakura Station.
  • Time to Beniaraibenzaiten?
    It’s a 20-minute walk from Kamakura Station.

  • Is smoking allowed?
    No, smoking is prohibited at all stations and on trains at all times.
  • Is the use of mobile phones allowed?
    Please refrain from talking on your mobile phone on the train. Please also set your mobile phone to silent mode out of consideration for those around you.
    In the vicinity of priority seats, please power off your mobile phone when the train is crowded as people using medical devices may be nearby.
  • Is travel accompanied by a guide dog, service dog, or hearing dog allowed?
    Yes, this is allowed. For details, please ask a station attendant.
  • Are bicycles allowed on trains?
    Yes, if they are either taken apart or folded and stored in a dedicated bicycle bag. No fee is charged.
    Depending on congestion levels, bicycles may be refused on trains.
  • Are large pieces of luggage allowed on trains?
    You are allowed to take on trains up to two pieces of luggage whose three dimensions (length, width and height) added up come to 2.5 meters or less and that weigh less than 30 kg.
